The houseboat was spacious and comfortable, with a great view of the water from the upper deck. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had plenty of delicious food and drinks throughout our stay. One highlight was the canoe trip in the morning, which was a nice addition to the backwaters experience. the boat took us on a route that allowed us to see different aspects of the backwaters, from bustling areas to more secluded spots.
One issue we faced was a misunderstanding about our dietary preferences. We had requested vegetarian meals for some members of our group, but this wasn't properly communicated to the chef.

This is definitely a must do! Our Captain and the cook was very helpful. We had a wonderful time. The food was good and prepared fresh. We stopped over at a little shop along the backwaters and bought huge prawns which the cook prepared for us.The Alleppey backwaters is a must watch destination.Thank to Angel Queen boat.

We were 3 adults stayed in their houseboat on 19 Nov, 2012. It was really a fun trip.. Staff were excellent, specially Srank Karuppayi and Cook pappachan. Cook was really friendly and funny, we had wonderful stay with Angel Queen. Owner and his son also very courteous .. They were very concern about quality, specially about food. I would highly recommend them and for our next trip, we will definitely go for Angel Queen We miss you pappachan and Srank karuppayi.. Navas Doha
Need to improve furnishing and flooring.

Very good meals and helpful staff in general. The boat cruised at a pleasant speed, while other boats seemed to be speeding by to complete the trip as quickly as possible. The owner was also very helpful and keen to make sure I was enjoying the experience
There were lots of mosquitoes, so a net for the bed would have been useful

Staff very friendly but dont speak any english, food was just amazing, really south keral cuisine in large quantities, the who houseboat experience is a must, to see the backwaters, sleep on the lake, etc.
I felt I diditn see that much of the backwaters since boat was often just still, and room way too hot in may.

The location of the boat was a bit hard to find, but once on board, the comfortable chairs on the top deck provided a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view. the food served was delicious, and the route taken was away from the other boats, making it a unique experience. the small boat ride through the backwater routes was a highlight, showcasing the beauty of the surroundings.
The staff was very disappointing, with a lack of professionalism and poor service.

The staff were very courteous. The food was delicious. The houseboat was clean. Toilets were spacious and clean.
We can watch TV only when the boat docks at its pre-fixed location in the night. But who will want to watch TV when there is so much to watch outside ie: beautiful backwaters.

It's a lovely relaxing way to see the backwater.
Read the details carefully, we didn't factor in the 17% tax added to the price at the end. Shop around, there are some good deals on offer. If you don't want to go through the bargaining process then book on line, but read the contract. We didn't have enough money in the end to leave a tip.

My husband and I had a romantic vacation on the houseboat. The view was breathtaking, and the owner was courteous. The cook prepared delicious meals, including a traditional Kerala lunch and a flavorful chicken curry for dinner. The comfortable bed and fine linen ensured a good night's sleep. The boat's movement allowed us to experience contrasting rivers. The staff, although reserved, were helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. the boat provided a unique and comfortable experience.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location of the houseboat is private and offers a serene and peaceful experience, away from the bustling pier. the staff onboard are accommodating and helpful, leaving guests to relax and enjoy the ride. the boat itself is well-kept and clean, with a tidy bathroom for convenience. Meals provided are cooked beautifully and there is an abundance of delicious food to enjoy throughout the stay. there is an option to explore the smaller backwaters on a canoe, offering stunning views of the surrounding village.

the boat was comfortable and the route taken was unique and special. the top deck had comfy chairs that were perfect for relaxation and enjoying the views. the host, Tommy, and the staff were all lovely and couldn't do enough for us. the food was delicious and we felt safe and comfortable throughout the trip. The morning excursion on a smaller boat through smaller backwater routes was amazing and definitely worth it. Cons: Nothing to be said. 👍.
